Kgaugelo Stimulation Center

Kgaugelo Stimulation Centre was established in 1998 by Lina Mabaso, who felt a need to educate her communities and to take care for the handicapped children in the Society. The centre has already assisted about 200 children who are affected by mental illness around Tembisa, Winnie Mandela, Ebony Park., Kliptown, Mayibuye and Midrand. The center has reached out to children and teenagers in schools, churches, squatter camps and many people in the communities and has partnered with the departments of Education and Social Development for further support.
